Arty is a sweet and gentle 1-year-old boy waiting for his forever family. This darling mini Jindo mix, has a soft medium-length coat. He loves his people and follows you around like your shadow. He is fully grown, weighs 25 pounds, and is a perfect size with beautiful long legs. He is a low to medium energy dog who would calmly sit right next to you when you are working, reading, or preparing your meals. He enjoys walking 2-3 times a day but does not need vigorous exercise. He will make sure to give you lots of kisses and a happy tail wag!
*Profile: 2 years old (born Dec 2020), 25 pounds, neutered (fully grown) mini Jindo mix.
*Medical history: Fully vetted, up to date with all vaccines, and received wellness exam on 9/9. No past illness or medical condition, and has a clean bill of health.
*Behavioral issue: Arty does not have any behavioral issues. No separation anxiety or aggressiveness. Well trained on a leash and does not pull. He is house-trained but once in a while he may have accidents at home.
*Temperaments: He is a very gentle boy with no known behavioral issues. He loves playing with toys so his ideal pawrent will give him lots of toys!
*Energy level: low to Moderate
*Socialization: He loves his people and will follow you around like your shadow. He could look shy around strangers but will open up soon. He is doing amazingly well with other dogs at his current foster home.
*Rescue story: Arty and his siblings were found on the streets as a 2 months old puppy in Korea. Our rescue partner organization rescued and since then they lived in a shelter since then. Unfortunately, many shepherd mix puppies do not get adopted because people expect them to grow into full-size Shepherd adults. Our rescue decided to bring Arty into a foster home so he can find his forever family.
*Current location: He is being fostered near Boulder, CO. We do not transport our dogs and the adopter will be expected to come to the foster location for meet-and-greet and adoption.
*Coat length: Medium, moderate shedding. He is very soft and you will want to pet him all day long.
*Ideal home: Arty will thrive in an environment where there are not a lot of noise or activities. We feel he will do great in a family who can spend time with him because he adores his people. He is a low-maintenance dog and you do not have to do a lot to make him happy- he will be just happy to be sitting next to you with his toy. We prefer a single house with a backyard but not a requirement.
