We appreciate you wanting to bring a dog into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we ask you to submit an adoption application.
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity. We may ask you to provide us a photo of your home in place of your home check.
Once your application meet all criteria, you will be contacted by a EveryHope Rescue volunteer to schedule an adoption interview. It usually takes about an hour and we use this opportunity to get to know you and your family including your pet.
After the interview, our volunteer will contact you to schedule a home check to meet virtually or in-person. During the home visit, we look for potential hazards for the dog that the adopter may not have realized.
We will select a few candidates and schedule a meet and greet with our dog. This is the most important step as our potential adopters will have a chance to interact. Based on the observations of our staff, we will determine which family would be the best fit for our dog.
Upon careful review, our volunteer will reach out to you with our adoption decision. You will have a chance to review and sign our adoption agreement. We offer one week trial period and will provide full support making sure the transition will go as smoothly as possible for our adopters and our dogs.
